TFN- The Northern Care Center is a medical clinic for those uninsured or underinsured. Patients  are seen on Tuesday afternoon/evenings. Located at 117 W State Street, Cheboygan. You need to wear a mask and when you come to the parking lot you need to call the clinic, first come first seen. They also have vouchers for product at Goodwill and personal hygiene products for those in need. Please knock on the door for product. Please call with any questions 231-333-3019.


The Secretary of State is now offering extended hours anyone needing to renew their driver's license or state ID before the upcoming Sept. 30 extension deadline. Available from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday for licenses and IDs that expire between Jan. 1 and Oct. 31 of this year and require a branch visit for renewal. To avoid late fees, residents are encouraged to renew before the Sept. 30 deadline. Appointments can be made on the Secretary of State's website at Michigan.gov/SOS [1] or by calling 888-SOS-MICH (767-6424).
