Often times neighbors don't even realize when someone in the neighborhood does something that benefits many. For the past several summers, Gerry St. Germain has been humanely live trapping and releasing skunks from our neighborhood. Over the past 2 summers, Gerry has captured and then released (far from town ), over 40 skunks (yes 40!) just a few blocks from downtown Grayling. He does all this on his own time and effort. So, if your pet comes home NOT smelling like skunk, or your lawn isn't covered in dug up spots - it might just be because Gerry has had his traps out! |
